UF's Jacaré Brazil represents the most diverse performance ensemble of its kind within a university performing arts program. Specializing in the musical traditions of Brazil, the Jacaré Brazil collective comprises four complementary ensemble sections: percussion, voice, guitar, and choro (Brazilian instrumental ensemble). Each semester, the selection of specific repertory combines these sections into unique groupings for performances with invited guest artists. In this clip Jacaré Brazil performs Santa Morena by Jacob do Bandolim arranged by Edson Lopes & Jacaré Brazil. Natasha Herrera -- flute, Dan McCoy, Silvio dos Santos, and Welson Tremura on guitar, Charles Perrone -- cavaquinho, and Larry Crook -- pandeiro.
