The Blue Rock Tavern - 9:30 PM on August 23, 2009 4114 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223 LYRICS: You see I'm checked out and I haven't checked back in. Since you walked out, I don't know where you've been. You see I'm falling, falling apart. So come put me back together baby, show me where to start. Somehow I got away from you. I don't know how to reach you. I've been maxed out since I don't know when. So thin and stretched out, I'm crawling in my skin. And now I'm stalling, waiting for you. So come give me an answer baby, or else we're through. I'm holding on to something that's not there, but I don't know how to leave you. You see I'd checked out, but now I'm checked back in. And I've got no doubt, I'll never be the same. Cause I was falling, falling apart, But she put me back together baby, she restored my heart. I finally got away from you--about time I released you.

For all of you people who are unfamiliar with adoption--YES, they are my brothers. They are Vietnamese. Sorry it's been so long--I'm working full-time this summer. I've already got another video lined up. Hopefully I'll do it sometime this week (and I'll give a little update at the end). :) LYRICS: I saw she who played in her Sunday gather dress outside her house by the white picket fence. She was chasing butterflies with a net in her hand. I would stand there catching them in a tin coffee can. And she'd say, "Don't ever let them go, because I tell you so. They're what my heartbeat wants. I'll put them in a picture frame in the hall." When we got a little older we'd go traveling afar. We'd drive east fifty-two and we'd sleep in my car. 'Wake up in the morning and have to find our way back, 'cause we'd gotten ourselves lost when the sky went black. And she'd say, "Don't ever let me go, because I tell you so. You're what my heartbeat wants. I'll put you in a picture frame in the hall." And now I walk right down the hallway just to see her pictures of the butterflies and me. And when I stand before them I can feel her heart beating for me.
