So l was finishing of a quest, killing of some enemies when l heard the dragon but noticed no enemy dot on the top bar. Got closer as you can see in the video and when he was about to attack l panicked but realized l could fast travel. So l did...and took the dragon with me, killing him in the process. Another one of many Skyrim's bugs/glitches..

To sum up the video...found a headless horseman as a dragon went to attack, before two random giants gave a helping hand which later l was taken to a skeleton lair to find a prize in gold.. Gotta love Skyrim!
