The family of a Springfield Township mother. accused of teaching her two-year-old daughter how to smoke joint, is speaking out about the woman and the welfare of her toddler. 21 year-old Jessica Gamble has been indicted on charges of Corrupting Another With Drugs, Child Endangering and Tampering With Evidence. Gamble is behind bars on a $10000 bond. She's accused of giving her daughter marijuana, and videotaping the incident on her cell phone. That video was forwarded to another person, who then contacted Job and Family Services-and an investigation began. Swiss rocker killed in crash on Nevada interstate By KEN RITTER (AP) -- 3 hours ago LAS VEGAS — Authorities in Nevada say Swiss rock band member Steve Lee was killed when a tractor-trailer skidded into his motorcycle on a wet highway northwest of Las Vegas. Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Fackrell said Wednesday the crash happened about 5:15 pm PDT Tuesday, after 47-year-old Stefan Alois Lee and a group of at least eight other motorcyclists pulled to the side of Interstate 15 to put on rain clothing. Fackrell tells The Associated Press the semitrailer swerved before hitting a parked Harley-Davidson motorcycle that hit Lee. Fackrell says drugs, alcohol and speed did not appear to be factors in the crash. Lee was frontman for the band Gotthard. Jan Bayati of German music management company Bottom Row says 48-year-old Lee died Tuesday in Nevada after a semitrailer crashed into a group of motorcycles on a slippery road. Gotthard is one of Switzerland's most successful bands, selling millions of albums and having played alongside Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Bon Jovi.

A Southwest Airlines pilot has been suspended after broadcasting a slur-filled rant about flight attendants over an air-traffic control frequency that stopped controllers from contacting other aircraft. The profanity-laced rant meant controllers were unable to contact other aircraft for several minutes potentially putting lives at risk. The Southwest Airlines pilot launched into a swear laced tirade about gay, overweight and older flight attendants on a flight passing over Houston, Texas. The pilot complained that most flight attendants weren't acceptable dating prospects for him. 'It was a continuous stream of gays, grannies and grandes,' the pilot said. The recording was obtained by the Houston Chronicle from the Federal Aviation Authority. The pilot, who has not been named, had accidentally turned on his microphone while talking to his co-pilot. He was unaware his conversation was being recorded and had no idea he was clogging up a frequency that prevented controllers in Houston from talking to dozens of other jets.
