About this song Michelle says: This is a song that I am the most excited to share with all of you. One of my favorite artists is Dwight Yoakam. When I was in the studio in Nashville, we met and I told him it would be a dream come true if he sang on my record. Next thing you know, he was in the studio singing "Long Goodbye" with me. I couldn't imagine this song without his voice on it. This song was meant to be the follow up single to "Sooner Or Later" (off the album that never was, Everything Comes and Goes.) I'm so disappointed that it was never released as I was really looking forward to filming the video with Dwight. Maybe next time ;) M

From Jewel second children's album The Merry Goes 'Round. Available on now on iTunes Amazon. - About this new album Jewel told: "I want the album to be fun for kids and adults, whether they have kids or not,I looked at it as a chance to write songs for my baby boy, that he can dance around to when he arrives" "I've got a lot of freedom with these family albums. I can write what I feel like. They don't have to be a certain genre or anything, really. I don't have to think about singles or airplay. That's liberating in a lot of ways. I just thought about things I'd like my son to learn—going into a room and using your imagination, not to be afraid of the dark, little lessons like that. So it's definitely a different mindset and creatively very fulfilling.
