*Read me!* Nicole (MundaneMuggle) recently did an AU Terabithia video where Leslie did not die, and it really inspired me to do the same! I've never vidded Terabithia before, but I'm definitely going to from now on because this is such a fun fandom, and such a neat thing to vid AU! Story: So, as I said before, Leslie did not die from the rope breaking, rather she stayed alive and stayed friends with Jess for another year. After that, though, Jess (who is still an artist, by the way) started getting made fun of less and making more friends, whereas Leslie was branded a "freak" and had no friends at all. The two grew apart for a few years, until Jess decides to take a walk in the woods one day to get inspiration for his art. There, he discovers the ruins of Terabithia and his memories of the fun times he had with Leslie start coming back to him. Jess approaches Leslie and tells her what he saw, and though she is reluctant to be his friend again, she agrees and the two head back to Terabithia, and rediscover their old feelings. I really hope you guys like this video! I put a lot of thought and work into it. I'd also appreciate it if you all checked out Nicole's channel. She was my biggest inspiration in creating this video, and she even sent me the manip you'll see of the "older" Jess & Leslie looking at each other! Hey, you there, read me before watching! WATCH IN 480p! I'm sorry the quality is so terrible. I've become so fed up with the low-quality clips I'm using that I've actually started ripping my own DVDs, and I'll be using those clips starting in my next video. Story: When the rope broke and Leslie hit her head, she fell into a coma (remember, this is alternate universe) and when she came out, she began suffering extreme depression, often landing in the hospital. Jess- who is, as we know, an artist- copes with her depression through painting and drawing. After awhile, Jess realizes that Leslie is sinking lower into depression, and wants to do anything he can to help his friend. He remembers Terabithia and feels that maybe if he brings Leslie back there, he can show her how fun life really is and remind her of their friendship and her incredible imagination. Clips are from Bridge to Terabithia (obviously), Soul Surfer, The Kids Are All Right, The Vampire's Assistant, Detention (trailer) & Carmel-by-the-sea (trailer). Was anyone else completely mesmerized by the trailer released yesterday!? The Hunger Games movie looks like it will NOT disappoint, and I'm so glad (considering the concern many fans- myself included!- felt at the seemingly poor casting choices and less than exciting set photos). I had to vid this trailer the second I saw it, and the first thing that came to mind was this speech, the ending dialogue from Sucker Punch, and how it ties in with the rebellion theme of the books. It's pretty basic, not much to it, but I will definitely be vidding THG more in the future, especially once we get more sneak peeks and clips! As I mentioned, the dialogue is from Sucker Punch. How good is the new generation of Skins!? I was so pleasantly surprised. :) I can't say I'm too keen on the storylines so far, but the characters are just great. Rich/Grace was so unexpected but I fell in love with them! I'm not a huge fan of this video, but my boyfriend wanted to see it and I haven't uploaded in awhile so I figured I may as well. 2 videos in 24 hours!? What the hell is wrong with me? Granted, the first video sucked and this one's really short. But oh well. You guys should still be proud. I was listening to my iPod the other day and this song came on. A video idea immediately formed in my head. To me, this feeling of this song just screams Ron & Hermione. Really, I just wanted an excuse to use some of my favorite parallels and moments from the movies. There are a few minor glitches with the timing & coloring of the video, which look fine on WMP but not on YT. I'm going to just assume it's YouTube's fault and use that as my excuse for not fixing them. ;) Please comment & like if you enjoy the video! Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
