These are entirely my own opinions and suggestions for brush choices. I did not give brush names because there are many brands of brushes and I don't want to promote only one brand. These are my brushes and I believe an individual should try brushes first hand to determine whether they agree or not with my overview/opinion. I don't claim any of my statements to be the only approach to makeup brushes; brushes are tools and should be used as such. Hope this helps some :) Thanks, and remember to subscribe, comment, and rate :)

This is a preview video of what's coming. Based off of an art photoshoot done in Hawaii with artist colleagues. The idea in mind was birds, peacocks, and birds of prey. Stay tuned for the actual video (which was impromptu).
This is part 4 of the Peacock inspired editorial makeup. Please read the description in part 1 :)
This is just a quick update on what I've been doing. I'm attending the February opening at The Hive Gallery (729. S. Spring st) in Downtown LA. Please check out my art as well as other amazing artists' work! I've been busy flying back and forth between Hawaii and LA as well as creating art/working on art photoshoots. Please check out my facebook page to see more art: Farida Lam Art if you are interested in seeing more :) Of course, please do not steal or "borrow" images without asking. Some works are collaboration pieces, so if you steal/borrow images, you are doing so from multiple people. I'm sure I don't have to explain what plagiarism is...
Part 2 of this makeup look. Please read the description from the first video :) Products used in this clip: MAC e/s "Orange" MAC e/s "Chrome yellow" (touch up) MAC "Blacktrack" fluidline MAC #217 MAC #239 MAC #266 MAC #210
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED! I did not use the original song ("Turn me on") in fear of being slammed with copyright issues. This is a makeup look translated from the CGI look within the first minute of Nicki Minaj's "Turn me On" video. To me, this look seems steam punk meets cyborg doll. I'm sorry about how horrible my voice sounds. I recorded the video prior to doing a voice over (don't worry my make up is not really contaminated--except the double dipping of certain products--that only I will ever use)
Hope everyone had a fantastic New Years! I wish all of you good health, an increase of wealth, and personal fulfillment for 2012! Just wanted to fill you all in on what I'm doing. Getting back on track with creating more art. As you know, I love Disney characters and or allusions to Disney/Grimm/Folklore. These images seen are explicitly my creations, please do not copy/steal images since my art is my life :) I never intend to copy characters, but merely allude/pay homage to characters and the stories they belong to. I also tried the black Rit clothing dye on my jeans...that was a bit messier and was more work than anticipated--I did the stove method. They came out great, I just don't know if I want to dye everyone's pants again! OK, enjoy! Happy New Year!
Please read the description from Part 1 of the tutorial. FINALLY, this is the last of the video. I will be making more videos soon. Thank you. Glitter used: MAC Reflects 3D Silver (Mac Pro)
