The idea behind the video is that I'm missing someone special, and I'm struggling to get through the activities of daily life because I'm so depressed. It's like I'm going through the motions of getting up and going to work, etc, but I'm not really invested in my life. Anyway, after coming home from work, I get drunk and fall asleep, where I dream of being happy and free again. We fade back to reality to discover who the special person in my life is, and it turns out that it's Jason Mraz, hahaha. Did you notice EH's wonderful drawing of Jason as on the cover of his album, We Sing We Dance We Steal Things? Actually, she traced it off my laptop screen, which is why it's so accurate. Also, big thanks to KN for appearing in the video as my overbearing boss.
