We should point out that we only did this in the early hours of the morning. We were up because of the whole jet-lag thing and there is only so much jumping on the bed you can do before needing to get out. Yes we did visit Alcatraz, Pier 39, Union Square, Sausalito, The Golden Gate Bridge etc. However Harry liked going up and down in lifts the most so we went from Hotel to Hotel trying to find the best ones :) To those people Harry met in the pool at the top of the hotel - "you see it was me".

The boys love this place and we try and go about twice a year. It is simply a big hole in a wood with two steep banks to climb up but they talk about it all the time. You can't appreciate how steep the banks are from the film. The clip is longer than normal but we were there ages and it seemed unfair to not get all of Jaspers first climb. We always go with Joshua and Adam. They are children of Jacky and Dave. We used to work with Jacky. Joshua has a genetic condition called VeloCardiFacial Syndrome or 22q11.2 deletion, find out more at www.vcfsef.org I have watched the Lord of the Rings with Harry. Gandalf and the Balrog left a huge impression. Charlie has seen some of it, has drawn the battle at hems deep at school although he has moved onto Pirates of the Caribbean and Captain Jack Sparrow now.

We all went to a park in the woods with a great swimming pool and slides. I few months before I bought a GoProHD so the boys could make videos themselves and thought this was a fantastic place to try it out. It was great to see Charlie's attitude and enjoyment of the slides change over the days. We had loads of rides on all the slides and rapids and only recorded a few (due to needing to hold hands as much as anything). That they wanted to and tried to make some video themselves was superb. Harry definitely did a great job. Yes it is Center Parcs Longleat

We have been playing with sounds and instruments over the last few months. Charlie's coordination has improved greatly and Harry loves to sing. They both enjoy dancing but that is best left or another day LaDiDa made it more fun by allowing us to play around with the different vocal effects and styles that matched their singing. I think our favourite style was Acoustic Rock! It was also great for helping the kids learn to sing with a beat. It gave us a chance to set the tempo to something they're comfortable with and test their rhythm. They really enjoyed singing into the app and hearing what was created. Highly recommended bit.ly Thanks to Make Mine Milk www.youtube.com Thanks to Sign543 for an fantastic remix www.youtube.com Thanks to the Gregory Brothers for a cool autotune www.youtube.com Loads of other remakes deserve a mention but maybe we will do a tribute compilation one day

Celebrating the coming on British Summer Time along with a sunny day. No where better than to go to the woods for a play in the park, a climb of some trees and building a house :)

We loved filming this. This is something we do pretty regularly in the garden or in the house. On this occasion we planned out a few ideas as scenes and got out all the bits and pieces lying around the house we have associated with Knights. The scenes themselves were not rehearsed or planned in advanced. Dressing the boys up as Knights putting helmets on and placing foam swords and shields in their hands is a great way to relieve tensions

We normally treat the boys to a day at Legoland once a year. This year the boys wanted to get as much done as possible during the day and to have a video of it. So with my trusty Olympus Tough 8010 we tried. Not all the rides we went on are in the clip but we did have lots of fun. We were there about 10 hours. The 8010 is really small, shock proof and waterproof and was got to let the boys use it as well as survive everything they could throw at it. We use it everyday.
