For more fun and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit... www.cutegirlshairstyles.com So many fans have been emailing me about hairstyles from the "Game of Thrones" HBO television series. I do not watch the series, however I have seen the photos fans have sent in and though I would highlight one of them that I thought was easy and super cute! We call this one the "Double French Braid and Twist". To begin, center-part the hair and then section off about a 1.5 inch strip on either side of the part. {These sections will provide the hair for the two French backs.} As your French backs reach as far back as the crown of the head, ended them into simple braids. Then take the braids and twist them around each other, tying them off together with a hair elastic. We added some volume to the hair before we made this braid, simply to add more texture to the hairstyle. This is a perfect 2nd-day hairstyle if you wore braids or had curls the previous day. Enjoy! For more cute and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit: www.cutegirlshairstyles.com We uploaded our 1st version of the Katniss Braid several months before the movie came out. Right after the movie premier, Linda Flowers, the lead hairstylist on The Hunger Games movie set, personally reached out to CuteGirlsHairstyles when she saw how popular our tutorial was! Can you believe it... she reached out to US!!! Linda was so amazed at how iconic the Katniss Braid became, so much that teen girls were wearing the braid to see the movie in theaters! She recognized that CuteGirlsHairstyles helped in teaching thousands of our fans how to do the braid! As such, Linda offered to give me a "personal" tutorial of the many Hunger Games hairstyles over Skype! During our tutorial, I quickly saw that Katniss' style had a little more to it than what I had originally thought! Linda showed me how she added the texture into Jennifer Lawrence's hair "before" she created the Katniss braid {something I had not figured out}. She uses a tool called the TopStyler® {by InStyler®} to add volume and stranded twists into the diagonal Dutch braid. I show you how to do this in the tutorial. You can find the TopStyler at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, or online at the following link... http I appreciate that the TopStyler uses a slow and uniform transfer heat to curl the hair, rather than the immediate hot heat a curling wand provides that only heats the outside of the strand. This is the exact look Katniss ...

It was probably the most unique and cute hairstyle I have seen since the Waterfall Braid! So... I sat down to figure it out, but after many attempts I wasn't having any luck. As another fan knew I was looking into the braid technique, she posted a picture on our Facebook page with a link to a Russian YouTube video showing the exact technique. The video is not very good quality and at times difficult to follow, but it gave me just enough information to be able to master the braid! Now it is time to share with you all everything I learned! There are endless possibilities with this bow braid hairstyle... short hair, medium hair, long hair, layered hair, hair with bangs, combos, etc. I show you in the video finished hairstyles using the bow braid and adapting it to a braided headband, diagonal braid, lace braid, or even ponytails. Any style that contains a regular 3 strand French braid could be transformed with bows to become "The Bow Braid" version!!! {What a unique and super cute way to spice up a traditional French Braid!} Items Needed: A brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hairspray or pomade, a hairpin (not a bobby pin), and a few hair elastics. Time Requirement: 10-15 minutes, depending on ...

For more fun and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit... www.cutegirlshairstyles.com I receive so many requests for hairstyles that you can do on yourself, especially for moms who work or career women in general. There are many styles that I do on myself in a pinch, that take literally 3-5 minutes to do. This Ponytail {Gibson} Tuck is one of the easiest! All you do is finger-comb your hair back into a ponytail, but on the last twist of the elastic... you pull the ponytail half way through. Then you twist the ponytail so that the ends flip up. Simply create a hole at the base of the ponytail {like you would if you were to flip the ponytail with a Topsy Tail} and begin stuffing the ponytail through the hole. The result is a very simple, yet sophisticated hairstyle that is perfect for the office, or simply to wear around! Enjoy! For more fun and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit... www.cutegirlshairstyles.com Items Needed Brush, one hair elastic, 3-4 Goody Spin Pins {if not, then 6-7 bobby pins}, curling iron {for pre-braid texture}, hairspray {if desired}. Time Requirement: 5+ minutes I love the way that fishtail braids look, and have been wanting to a Fishtail braided bun for a long time! Since this is prom season, we decided to finally film this hairstyle for all of you. If you do not know how to fishtail braid, please see our easy step-by-step video here first... tinyurl.com Before the tutorial, I slightly curled the top layer of the hair only, using a curling wand, leaving the underneath layers as is. I then gathered all of the hair to the side by the right ear and created the fishtail braid. Once the braid was finished, I secured it with the hair elastic and tugged on the sides of the braid just to make the braid appear more loose. Then I rolled the braid up into a bun and pinned it just behind the ear. To avoid having to use so many bobby pins, I used 3 Goody Spin Pins. These pins are the perfect solution for holding hair buns together all day! I figure that each spin pin saves you from having to use 2-3 bobby pins, and they come in colors to match your hair type. If you would like to purchase Goody Spin Pins, you can find them at Wal-Mart, Target, Sally's, etc. You can also find them on Amazon here... tinyurl.com This braided updo hairstyle is perfect for prom, homecoming, weddings, or ...
For more fun and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit... www.cutegirlshairstyles.com I saw a version of this super-cute braided hairstyle on Pinterest today, but could not find the website to link to here as it was uploaded directly from the user's hard drive. My #3 begged me to do this braided hairstyle on her, to share with all of you, so here you go! How could I resist??? This hairstyle uses a Simple Side Braid, only I include two microbraids in two of the strands of the larger braid. Make certain you follow my braiding steps exactly to ensure that the micro braids lay on top {rather than be hidden}. I also hair wrapped the ponytail using the Topsy Tail tool. To see how to do this, click here... http Enjoy! This example uses a French Braid Headband as the base before creating the bows. You can learn how to do the base for this hairstyle, the French Front here... youtu.be In this tutorial, I only had four bows, but you can actually do more if you would like. I just like how the bows are only on one side, more like an accent. I receive comments all the time when I wear this hairstyle!
